What we collect
Your data stays with us. We hold the name, email, phone, and (for orders) shipping address you give us when you get in touch — nothing more. We never combine it with information from anywhere else, never enrich it with third-party data, and never pass it to brokers. Payment details, when an order is placed, are handled by our payment processor and we never see the card number ourselves. We retain order records for tax purposes for the period required by law (typically six years), and contact-form messages for up to two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner. You have the right to access, correct, port, or erase any of it; email us and we will respond within thirty days. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you believe we have mishandled your data.
How we use it
This site uses a small number of cookies. Essential cookies remember basic things like your language preference, the contents of your cart, and whether you've already dismissed this banner — without them the site does not work properly. We do not set advertising cookies, we do not run third-party tracking pixels, and we do not feed data into marketing networks. If your browser supports it, you can block or delete cookies in your settings and the site will still function (you'll be asked again about banners). Essential cookies are kept for the duration of the session or up to twelve months for preferences. We do not store personally identifying information in any cookie.
Your rights
If you'd like to access, update, port, or erase any personal information we have on file, please contact us — we'll act on it within thirty calendar days, at no charge. You have the right to withdraw consent for any future processing, to restrict how we use existing records, and to ask that your data be moved to another service in a portable format. Records subject to legal retention (orders, invoices) cannot be deleted before the required period elapses, but everything else can. You also have the right to raise a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country. Just email hello@syncpathcorexys.com.
Data Protection & Privacy — Full Statement
SyncPath CoreXys ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits this website or contacts us. This statement explains, in detail, what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we store and protect it, and the rights you have under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). It supplements the summary above and applies to all pages of this website.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, telephone number, company name, and the contents of any message — when you complete an enquiry form or contact us by email or telephone. We also collect limited technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device characteristics, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not collect special-category data unless you volunteer it in the course of an enquiry.
How and Why We Use Your Information
We use the personal information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry, to deliver the services you request, to maintain accurate business records, and to comply with our legal and accounting obligations. Technical information is used to operate, secure, and improve the website, to understand which content is useful, and to detect and prevent misuse. We rely on your consent and on our legitimate business interests as the basis for this processing, and we never sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies and Analytics
This website uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to function, together with optional analytics cookies that help us understand aggregate, anonymised usage patterns. You can accept or decline optional cookies using the banner presented on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser. Declining optional cookies does not affect your ability to use the site or to contact us.
Sharing and Disclosure
We disclose personal information only to the service providers who help us operate our business — for example, email and hosting providers — and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their function under appropriate confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, by a competent authority, or to protect our legal rights. Any transfer of data outside Japan is carried out only where equivalent protection is ensured.
Data Retention and Security
We retain enquiry records for only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected and to meet our legal obligations, after which they are securely deleted. We apply organisational and technical safeguards — including access controls, encryption in transit, and staff confidentiality — to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.
Your Rights
Under the APPI you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, request that we stop using it, or withdraw a consent you have previously given. We will respond to any verified request without undue delay. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask a question about this statement, please contact us using the details below.
